The Friends of Sinfin Moor Park Local Nature Reserve help to manage the site for the benefit of wildlife and the community, in partnership with Derby City Council.

All work undertaken on the site is done in accordance with the Management Plan prepared by James Frith, Ecologist.

Here is a link to the Management Plan 2013-2024, which can be found on Derby City Council's website:

Sinfin Moor Park Local Nature Reserve was one of 5 sites in the City of Derby to be awarded a grant by Natural England to implement the Higher Level Stewardship scheme.  Under this scheme, grassland is being managed by mowing and also eventually by cattle grazing to provide the conditions for wildflowers to flourish and create a good habitat for a range of wildlife.
