Our vision statement
The Friends of Sinfin Moor Park Local Nature Reserve aim to improve wildlife habitats at the Park and Nature Reserve and encourage the community to benefit from the area for education and enjoyment.
We provide:-
- training and volunteering opportunities in conservation skills, such as hedgelaying, coppicing, fencing and pond creation, through Derby Parks Volunteers;
- events and facilities for the wider community, including a weekly Cafe and guided walks, and support an active Friends group.
The Friends group is open to all who have an interest in enjoying and improving our local Park and Nature Reserve and seeing more people benefit from the facilities on offer.
